Theodore Roosevelt Lattin (1901-1980) to Thomas Patrick Norton I (1920- ):
November-December, 1944
Dear Sparks:
You don't know me, & I have never seen you, but I am Roy Winblad's uncle Ted Lattin. I had the same rate(?) that you have - some 22 years ago. And often have the desire to pound the key(?) again, but guess I am too old & Uncle Sam doesn't want me. You no doubt like your work but also [are] anxious to be home again with your loved ones. So here's wishing you the best of luck & hope this war will soon be over & you can once more live a normal and civilian life. So 73s for now. O.M.C.U some time I hope.
Teddy
