Grave marker for Anna Lindauer (1873-1956) wife of Ira Lowe, at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye, New York.Note: Anna was the daughter of Charles Frederick Lindauer (1836-1921) and Anna Augusta Kershaw (1841-1931) aka Anna Kershow. She was born on "October 20, 1881" according to her obituary and her tombstone uses "1881". However there is an "Anna Lillian Lindauer" born on "October 20, 1872" in Manhattan to Charles and Anna. The nine year difference is difficult to reconcile, but obituaries have been known to be incorrect. The month and day of birth match what is in her obituary.
